Welcome to my commissioning term of services!
I'm thrilled that you're considering working with me to bring your vision to life.Before we get started, I want to ensure that we're on the same page and that you understand my terms of service.As a digital artist, I take pride in my work and strive to provide the best possible experience for my clients, and I'm here to help you bring your unique vision to life.
To ensure that our collaboration runs smoothly and that we're both happy with the final result, I have a few terms of service that I ask my clients to abide by.These terms are designed to protect both of our interests and ensure that we have a clear understanding of what to expect throughout the commissioning process.
So please take a moment to review my terms of service before we begin.

Customer Satisfaction

I will do everything I can to make my clients satisfied with their commission(s).If you have any problem regarding the commissioned piece, please tell me right away, so we can find a solution together.Your entire satisfaction is my end goal, so communication is the most important part of the commission process.
As such, if you have some issues with communication, please don’t hesitate to let me know beforehand, so I can adapt myself to you.

General Guidelines

By commissioning me, you agree to have read and fully agreed to my terms of service.
Prices shown on my Socials and Wedsite are for personal use only.
I retain all the rights to my work, which include but are not limited to the right to distribute, reproduce, copy, and/or use the image as a sample for sales or self-promotion.
I do NOT authorize using any of my pieces as NFT.
Furthermore, I do NOT authorize using any of my pieces to feed any AI generator or use in an AI generator in any way.
I reserve the right to refuse any commission.
Any ill behavior will not be tolerated.
Please write clearly and sympathetically.
I work best when given artistic freedom to create an image based on the characters you provide: I am happy to match a scene or pose that you have in mind, please allow and expect some variations.
Price will vary depending on the complexity of the character design, background or other elements I deem fit.

Customer Uses

The commissioner reserves the right to:~Claiming rights to the character, but not the drawing itself.
~Sharing/Reposting the artwork anywhere they see fit, with proper credit.
~Printing the artwork for personal use only.The following is considered copyright infringement:~Reproducing/using copyrighted artwork commercially without my knowledge.
~Claiming the artwork as your own.
~Removing my signature from the artwork.
~Changing the artwork without my consent.

Payment

At the moment, I only accept payment via PayPal, Cash App, & Square(In person only)
I only accept USD as payment!
Full payment upfront.
Payment plans are welcome for commercial uses and/or returning customers starting at $250.
I will ONLY start working on your commission after receiving the full or the first rate of the agreed payment.
! Rush fee means that you will be put at the top of my to-do list ! We can discuss this together via DM, just state it asap.
-1 week rush $200
-3 day rush $400
Please, give me a realistic deadline.

Rights Rates

Personal rights are free of charge.
Private right is starting at an extra 75% of the final quote price.
Commercial rights will be decided case by case, but start at 150%. With a 30% Residual on every unit sold.

Refunds and Cancellations

I don't offer refunds if I have started working on your commission.You’ll receive a full refund if, for any justifiable reason, I’m unable to finish the commission.

Delivery Time

Commission may take, upon starting up to 4 weeks, depending on the commission queue and life.
The time of delivery is based on active buyer responses to my inquiries; delays may arise if not.
Delays may arise depending on the following factors: order of commission, complexity, health, work, or family issues.
If delays arise, you will be notified.
If you choose a payment plan, payment must be made in full before a delivery time can be estimated.
In this case, I will work on your commission as much of the payment I have received

Commission’s Information

Provide references. (Reference Sheets, Character references, Pose Reference, Image Inspirations)
In the case where you have any size, resolution, and/or color mode requirements, please inform me as soon as possible.
If I have already created the file and worked on it, I might not be able to change it.
A loose description of the commission is up to artistic liberty.

Commission Process / Workflow

Step 1 / Sketch stage
I’ll sketch some ideas then show them to you so you can choose and/or tweak one to your liking.
You can expect 3 thumbnails minimum.
Step 2 / Color stage
I’ll color the thumbnail of your choosing with base colors.
Step 4 / ALTS (optional)
Making all the alts. Revisions are welcome.
Step 4 / Line/Refining stage
I’ll refine the sketch and line it, meaning working on details in the background and character(s). This is what your commission will look like before I render it further.
Step 5 / Rendering stage
The most time-consuming part, I might not be able to update you as much as before because I’ll need to focus on the piece.
However, feel free to DM me to see the advancement.
Step 6 / Final effects
I’ll be adding effects and filters.
Step 7 / Sending files
Finally, you will receive a signed digital file via WeTransfer by email to preserve the quality. If the file is too big, I’ll use another image hosting website.
Once the commission is finished, no more changes or edits can be made.
All pieces will have a watermark/signature on them.

Revisions

Commission revisions:
Bust : 2 revisions during sketches.
Half Body : 3 revisions during sketches.
Full Body : 4 revisions during sketches.
Additional revisions after the steps stated previously will be charged 5-20% of the base price, depending on complexity.
If you wish to change a part of the painting you have previously approved, I will charge you an extra fee.
If the client requests the scrapping of the scene in its majority or entirety, they'll be charged again.
Any mistakes from my end will be fixed for free.

Please keep my art & thematic style in mind when ordering, which is focused on fantasy/ dark fantasy/cyberpunk/supernatural genres in a semi-realistic and cartoony style. I am focused on SFW work at the moment, but open to NSFW offers.Don’t hesitate to ask me if you’re wondering if your commission idea matches my art aesthetic.

Do and Don’t

It’s important to know that 50% of the total payment is non-refundable. We do offer short payment plans. Your suit must be completely paid off before work will begin on it. My preferred method of payment is listed above in ‘Payment’. It is important that you are serious when commissioning Danny’s Art Den when it comes to Fursuits.Shipping
Shipping costs are an additional charge when the suit is completed. Costs may vary, and one should expect to pay anywhere from $50-$300 within the US. International could be as much as $700. Please keep in mind, Danny’s Art Den has the right to select shipping methods and carriers. Danny’s Art Den is NOT responsible for any lost or damaged products once it leaves my studio.If meeting at a convention, shipping is not applicable.Repairs and Refurbishments
Danny’s Art Den offers free minor repairs, from wear and tear, within a year of obtaining your costume. Shipping is required by the customer for packages delivered to and from us. After a year, all repairs, either large or small, will be charged a fee. Repairs are subject to be declined based on scheduling conditions. I cannot guarantee getting repairs made ASAP in all situations.My costumes are typically built to last, but they do require maintenance and cleaning by the owner to ensure they last many years.Concept Art
In order to bring your character to life, concept art is needed. A reference sheet with at least 2 views of your character (front and back) showing off all the markings and details you would like. If you wish to give Danny’s Art Den artistic freedom, then it is not required, as we will work with you to come up with a design.Cancellations or Design Changes
If you wish to cancel your commission at any time please know 50% of the full cost, as stated previously, is non-refundable. Make sure you are financially secure before committing to a commission. However, part of what you have paid can be refunded, of course. If work has already been started on your suit, it will affect how much can be refunded. I am happy to work with you to resolve any issues!While it is advised that you are sure of your design when commissioning Danny’s Art Den, some changes can be made until work is actually started on the suit and supplies are ordered. If supplies are ordered and work is already started; we can NOT guarantee all changes will be made. Please be sure you are absolutely satisfied with your design before commissioning. If design changes are made, it may change the price of your original offer.Disclaimer: Danny’s Art Den does NOT offer hyper realistic costumes, my style is quite toony. Please be certain this is what you are looking for before commissioning.Sizing
A Duct Tape Dummy (DTD) is basically a clone of your body that we can work off of to ensure a proper fit. DTDs are required for full suit commissions. When making your DTD, please use painters' coveralls and STRONG duct tape. Make sure to tape all the way down to your ankles, wrists, and up to the base of your neck. If the coveralls run out and you still need to tape closer to your wrists or ankles, you can use a paper towel to create that buffer between skin and tape. Place the duct tape in a crisscross pattern as you go; this will help keep the DTD from falling apart when we re-stuff it here in the studio. A good bodysuit will only be as good as its dummy. Please wait to make your DTD until asked to do so. Weight and muscle mass can fluctuate over time. It is important that the duct tape dummy it is an accurate representation of your body, so when you get your suit, it fits properly.Please provide head size around the thickest part of your head, including nose. Include if you wear glasses, so I can work around that.Deadlines
Completion dates can not be predicted exactly, however, I will try to provide you with a rough estimate of when your suit may be finished. No deadlines are guaranteed. Quality and comfort are extremely important during the construction of your suit. That being said, I never want to rush. Work will not start on a suit until it is paid off completely. You can see the order in which suits will be made on my Trello. Generally, turnaround time for fursuits can vary depending on complexity and requested deadlines. Please be upfront if you have a deadline in mind; please give at least 6-12 months for the deadlineI value my customers, so please, if you have any issues with your costume or the commission process, contact me! Communication is key for a timely and complication-free experience.3D Printed Parts/ Foam Cast
3d printing and foam-cast parts will be purchased from an independent shop/maker.
